U.S. Dry Bean Council Announces Danny Raulerson as New Executive Director
June 28, 2024Washington, D.C. – June 25, 2024 – The U.S. Dry Bean Council (USDBC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Danny Raulerson as its new Executive Director. Raulerson brings over 20 years of experience in agricultural policy and leadership to this role, making him a valuable addition to the USDBC team.
In his new position, Raulerson will lead the USDBC’s efforts in promoting American dry beans both domestically and internationally, supporting research on the health, nutrition, and quality of dry beans, and advocating for policies that benefit dry bean producers. Raulerson’s extensive knowledge and strategic vision will be instrumental in furthering the USDBC’s mission to strengthen the U.S. dry bean industry.
Courtney Schuler, President of the USDBC Board, expressed her excitement about Raulerson’s appointment, “We are thrilled to welcome Danny as our new Executive Director. His deep understanding of agricultural policy and commitment to promoting sustainable practices make him an ideal leader for the USDBC.”
Prior to joining the USDBC, Raulerson served as Executive Director of a national agricultural trade organization where he spearheaded initiatives to improve the competitiveness of U.S. agricultural products in the global market. Raulerson also has a background in international trade, having worked for several government agencies and private sector organizations, further enhancing his expertise in promoting American goods overseas.
