Two U.S. Dry Bean Industry members appointed to advisory committees

Sam Peck of Jack’s Bean and Grant Hinze of Kelley Bean have both been appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture and the U.S. Trade Representative to serve on the Agricultural Trade Advisory Committee for Grains, Feed, and Oilseeds (ATAC). The ATAC committees provide input to the USDA and USTR on the direction of future trade policy such as trade agreements, MRLs, tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade. Previously USDBC Executive Director, Rebecca Bratter served a five-year term on the Grains ATAC.
